Objectives of the training
  • Identify the characteristics of ionizing radiation and its effects on health
  • Identify the potentially harmful effects of radiation exposure on the embryo, particularly during early pregnancy, and on the unborn child and explain the need to report a pregnancy as early as possible
  • Describe and apply the principles of radiation protection and the rules for protection against external and internal exposure
  • Identify the regulatory requirements for radiation protection of exposed persons
  • Identify the procedures for monitoring personal exposure and accessing dosimetric results and the special rules established for pregnant and nursing women, workers under 18 years of age, workers on fixed-term contracts and temporary workers
  • Apply the rules of access to the zones
  • Identify the actors of radiation protection within and outside the establishment and their roles
  • Describe and apply the procedures to follow in the event of an accident or incident
